Fundraise for your own student fees and TPA by shopping at Fry's! A unique fundraising opportunity is offered by Fry’s grocery stores (actually, the whole Kroger family of stores which includes among others, Fred Meyer, Ralph’s and Smith’s in other states).  They donate funds to the favorite organizations of their shoppers through their rechargeable gift card program.  The amount that can be earned by TPA is unlimited and the program is simple.

• Obtain a gift card that is linked to the school  (you can get one from Lori Beene, ldbeene@cox.net, 480-730-6920)
• Put money on the card. You can do this with cash, a check, or your favorite credit card.
• Pay for your groceries with your card. The balance remaining on the card will be shown on the bottom of your receipt ad can be used on subsequent shopping trips.
• Add money as needed to the card.  You can add a little each time or as much as $500. 
• Twice a year, Fry’s sends a check to the school – the amount of the check is based on the cumulative amount reloaded to the cards.  When this check is received, 60% of the rebate earned will be credited to your child’s fee account at the school, 40% will go into the TPA general fund.  The credit that goes to your student’s account can be used to pay book deposits, class fees, sports fees, speech and debate, etc… The rebate earned is on a graduated scale depending on participation, the most likely percentage to be earned would be 5%, the maximum is 6%.
• Get a card for your family and friends so they can help earn funds.  The cards can be used at any Kroger store in the nation.

This program costs nothing, it just takes some of your grocery dollars and gives them to the school.
