Tempe Prep College List
Our primary concern when helping students select colleges is to find those colleges that provide the best fit for the individual goals and objectives of each student, not to achieve admittance to the best known or most highly selective colleges. However, many different constituencies frequently want to know where TPA graduates have been admitted and where they have actually decided to attend college.

Registration Information for Tempe Preparatory Academy (Grades 7-12)
Open enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year at Tempe Preparatory Academy is from Dec. 1st, 2011 - Feb. 15th, 2012. All applications received during this time for grade 7, are processed and assigned a lottery number. Notifications with lottery information will be sent the week of Feb. 27th, 2012. The lottery will be held on Mar. 7th, 2012 at our scheduled Board meeting.
Applications received for the 2012-2013 school year for grades 8-10 will be placed at the bottom of the current waiting list in the order received. Our waiting list is established at the lottery for 7th grade and rolls from year to year. We recommend completing the applicantion for grades 8-10 as soon as possible, as applicants are placed at the bottom of the waiting list under their current grade for the current school year.
Students applying for grades 11-12 are reviewed on an individual basis. Due to Tempe Preparatory Academy's specific guidelines for graduation, acceptance into 11th or 12th grade is determined after reviewing current high school transcripts. All applicants must submit an unofficial transcript with the completed application for review.

Open enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year at Tempe Preparatory Junior Academy is from Dec. 1st, 2011 - Feb. 15th, 2012. Students applying to the Junior Academy for grades 7-8 are also encouraged to apply for Tempe Preparatory Academy for grades 7-8.
Please note: As of May 2010, students promoted to grade 9 from Tempe Preparatory Junior Academy will be given priority enrollment in Tempe Preparatory Academy's high school.
*Siblings of current TPA students DO NOT receive priority enrollment in TPJA, as TPA and TPJA are two distinct charter schools in the State of Arizona.

Parent Information Nights
Please join us for a Parent Information Night to learn about the opportunities and choices available to your child at Tempe Preparatory Academies. Tempe Preparatory Academies will also hold classroom tours in February. This will be a guided tour for prospective parents and students to view our campus and ask questions of our Dean of Students.
